AQUENT PRINCIPAL TAKES “MOM” TO TASK ON WSRADIO.COM, MAY 3, 2006

Program Will Focus on Importance of Pre-implementation Processes

BOSTON (May 1, 2006) – Nina Eigerman, president of Aquent Consulting, will be the sole guest on the wsradio.com Internet program “Marketing Matters, LIVE!” at 11:00 a.m. CT, Wednesday, May 3, 2006. During the hour-long broadcast, which is presented by the American Marketing Association (AMA), Eigerman and program host David Kinard will discuss how organizational structure and marketing processes need to be designed to fit a company’s marketing projects before Marketing Operations Management (MOM) systems are implemented. Following the live broadcast, a tape of the program will be archived on the AMA Web site, marketingpower.com, as well as on wsradio.com and aquent.com.

At a time when marketing organizations are faced with ever-increasing demands on time, spiraling budgets, and limited resources, MOM software tools sound like a cure-all. “However,” says Eigerman, “before such systems can provide the relief they promise, much preparation is necessary to manage the process and achieve success.” While she agrees that such tools can be extremely beneficial, she stresses that marketers must structure their organizations and tailor their processes beforehand.

“People and process first,” says Eigerman, who will discuss how organizations can align their resources by getting the right people on the right tasks—from agency to in-house production specialist. “By streamlining…prioritizing and managing work flows and processes…you will work more effectively than you ever thought possible,” she adds.

Nina Eigerman launched Aquent’s consulting business in 2003. Since then, the organization has served more than 50 major corporations spanning industries as diverse as retail, pharma, and high tech. The work that Aquent professionals have done for these clients has streamlined operations, increased flexibility, and enabled top-line growth. Specific projects included organization design, process reengineering, technology implementation, and change management.
